Description

lues Hammer is an improvised musical where every song is the Blues. Because everything sounds better when it’s the Blues.
Born at The Dubai Improv Festival in 2017 and played internationally since, it rolls in like a late-night Chicago jam session: big voices, hot keys, sharp scenic turns, and the occasional special guest dropping in to raise the roof.

Sad song? Love song? Singalong anthem? Blues.
Jazz hands? Still Blues.

From Joe Bill (Bassprov & founder of The Annoyance Theatre), Heather Urquhart (Showstopper! The Improvised Musical & AndAlso Improv) and Joe Samuel (The Maydays & The Concept) who, like the Blues themselves, are all a little bit sad and a little bit sexy.

We won’t fix your blues. We’ll smash them with a hammer, give them a bassline, and call it a love letter to the human condition.
