AI is one of the most hotly debated subjects in the world today. What impact is it having on society? Whose jobs will it take? How will it affect our communication, our brains, our imagination? Urgent questions continue as we explore the uncertainties and possibilities of this life-changing innovation. But how can we use AI’s remarkable capabilities? And what are our responsibilities when doing so?
Using a new large language model tool developed by Piotr Mirowski (Improbotics), Play-i will bring together actors, musicians, and improvisers in an exciting, unpredictable, and often hilarious, new collaboration.
Each night three of the UKs top improvisers will be joined by a guest actor whose lines will be given to them, live in the moment, by AI. Can AI improvise? Can it pretend? Can it collaborate? And what might we learn along the way?
